Amtrak plans for Sebring, Florida station approved

SEBRING — Amtrak plans early next year to begin work to make its Sebring station comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

On Monday night, the Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency board approved the plans.

The plans, as presented to the board, include replacement and raising of the platform. The completed work will include access to the platform side public entrance to the station.
