Amtrak issues RFQ to upgrade Claytor Concourse in Washington Union Station

US-based passenger railroad service Amtrak has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to select a general contractor to upgrade Claytor Concourse at Washington Union Station.

The project is part of the larger Washington Union Station upgrade programme to enhance customer experience.

Union Station’s intercity passenger and commuter rail pathway, Claytor Concourse, was built in the 1980s.
