As one of the nation’s fastest-growing regions, South Florida’s population is projected to increase by almost 3 million residents over the next 20 years.
With the area’s road system already strained, the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) is seeking to sustain economic vitality and quality of life by increasing mobility through a public transportation network that includes traffic-reducing options that meet the desires and needs of the region.
