Union Station’s owners say they will begin construction on the aquarium at the downtown landmark in one week, with plans to open in May 2019.
The project, set to break ground on Nov. 2, will emphasize local marine species from the Mississippi and Missouri rivers, Lodging Hospitality Management CEO Bob O’Loughlin said, but will also include more exotic attractions with sharks and species native to the Caribbean.
