While most Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority traffic goes into Boston, some passengers take train west to Worcester

One passenger boarded the 8:13 a.m. commuter rail train headed for Worcester Monday morning from Westboro Station.

The full parking lot and empty platform hinted that most commuters hopped on earlier “inbound” trains east to Boston, instead of traveling west toward Worcester in “reverse commute” mode.
