Much has been written about whether our region should build a new passenger rail station on the Boulevard or maintain our region’s current stations on Main Street in the city and Staples Mill Road in Henrico. The Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation has proposed — in its recommendations for the final draft of the Washington-to-Richmond high speed rail study — that the Staples Mill/Main Street Station course be pursued.

We believe that the two-station option is the right one for RVA.
