Sedalia Downtown Development, Inc., (SDDI) recently requested that the City of Sedalia take over the responsibility of the Amtrak train depot located at Pacific and North Osage. On Monday night, the City did just that.
Sedalia City Council voted with seven members present to transfer the title of the depot from SDDI, which has seen changes in its funding structure in recent months, to the City of Sedalia.
