U.S., Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia: More MARC stops, connections to Virginia part of draft transit plan

The Maryland Transit Administration released a draft of its 25-year regional transit plan, which includes calling for more MARC stops and connections to Virginia and Philadelphia.

Riders and public transportation advocates have been awaiting the Central Maryland Regional Transit Plan, which MTA started developing last year. The draft identifies six objectives and specific underlying goals the agency hopes to accomplish by 2045.
