For decades, we in Western Massachusetts have been trying to get Beacon Hill to appreciate the hidden jewel that is our home, the Connecticut River Valley and the Berkshires.
Perhaps Boston’s congestion – its traffic was just deemed the worst in the nation — and its soaring cost of living will finally get policy makers to turn their gaze west.
