The plan to build a high-speed passenger rail line between Dallas and Houston is taking shape slowly but surely.
Texas Central Partners, the private company with a pie-in-the-sky idea, announced this week it has acquired a 60-acre tract of land for a passenger station just southeast of downtown Dallas. The announcement added a dose of reality to the super-ambitious rail project.
