When it comes to passenger rail connecting Oklahoma’s two urban centers, it’s back to square one.

Stillwater Central Railroad’s recent failure to launch a promised six-month pilot service between Oklahoma City and Tulsa cost the state a decade of precious time on a project that should be regarded as an economic development no-brainer.
