INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Supreme Court ruled today that Allen County cannot use a state law to fine Norfolk Southern Railway Co. for blocking public roads.
“To what extent has Congress kept the tracks clear from state regulation of rail transportation?” the 5-0 opinion asked.
