HALIFAX — Via Rail says a Montreal-bound train was damaged Wednesday when it hit debris, causing a fuel leak and breaking windows.
The passenger service said all 77 passengers and 12 crew aboard Train 15 out of Halifax were safe after the train hit unspecified debris near Debert, N.S., late Wednesday afternoon.
