Missouri: Former Amtrak employee claims she suffered knee, back injuries due to repetitive car movements

ST. LOUIS — A former on-board service attendant is suing a common carrier operator, citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries.

Ramona Garrett filed a complaint Oct. 17 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against National Railroad Passenger Corp. (Amtrak), alleging the company failed to comply with the provisions of the Federal Employer’s Liability Act.
