Michigan: Georgetown Township rejects request for money for rail study

Georgetown Township will not help fund a study on the possibility for local passenger rail service, though surrounding municipalities and agencies are getting involved.

Hudsonville City Manager Patrick Waterman held a private meeting on Nov. 1 with Tim Hoeffner of the Michigan Department of Transportation Rail, Greg Holcombe of Urban Innovations, and representatives of other interested groups.
