Members of Maryland’s Congressional delegation are disappointed in the lack of information coming from CSX Corp. about the Howard Street Tunnel.
The railroad surprised state and federal officials when it decided last fall not to move forward with a project that would have reconstruct the 120-year-old tunnel to allow shipment of double-stacked containers. Government officials have been pushing the project for years because it would help the fast-growing Port of Baltimore.
