JOHNSBURG — Saratoga & North Creek Railway missed a July 15 deadline to remove its equipment from Warren County’s property, but county officials said this week the company is working to get inoperable equipment off the county-owned railroad tracks.
Bolton Supervisor Ronald Conover, chairman of the county Board of Supervisors, said county workers have been monitoring the goings-on at the railroad depot in North Creek and elsewhere on the county-owned tracks where SNCR had its locomotives, train cars and other equipment.
