WORKING ON THE RAILROADS: FRA Administrator Ron Batory wants all 41 railroads required to implement positive train control to be on the same page as the agency when it comes to meeting the necessary compliance milestones spelled out by Congress — which by the way are rapidly approaching. But don’t expect him to favor a gentle approach on enforcement. “The honeymoon is over,” he told our Lauren Gardner this week in an interview at DOT headquarters.
