Fires at New York City’s two busiest train hubs occur around same time

Firefighters were called to combat two separate fires that took place at New York City’s busiest train hubs.

More than 85 firefighters responded to a fire at Grand Central Terminal, near 43rd Street and Lexington Avenue, shortly before 9:30 a.m.
