Colorado: State rail commission plots path forward for Front Range passenger train

Colorado’s newly formed passenger rail commission aims to push the conversation forward this upcoming legislative session, though the details are still being formed.

The General Assembly formed the Southwest Chief & Front Range Passenger Rail Commission in the 2017 legislative session. Now, it’s working on a bill to send “an appropriate message” to legislators about continuing the fight for passenger rail, said Colorado Rail Passenger Association President Jim Souby on Saturday.
