The Amtrak Winter Park Express is adding more days of operation this year and also adding food and drinks, responding to customer demand after its second year of re-introduced operations last season proved to be a fruitful one.
The 2019 edition of the train will launch on Friday, Jan. 4, as operators are continuing the edition of first Friday service that they started during the most recent ski season. But this year they also will add three additional round trips, on the second Fridays of each month, to accommodate increasing crowds, according to a news release issued Thursday.
