Canada, Ontario: Northern Policy Institute think tank criticized for report of Northern passenger rail service

A recently released Northern Policy Institute report suggests that regularly scheduled passenger train service in Northern Ontario may not be economically feasible.

The report, called “The Think Case for passenger rail in Ontario’s Northern regions,” concludes that “there is no be-all and end-all definite answer” to whether regularly passenger rail service is good for northern Ontario.
