CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Amtrak train slowed to a crawl just outside Gary, Indiana. It took us nearly two hours to go 30 miles, stuck behind a slow-moving freight train.
I pulled out my laptop and did some work as we meandered north. Good thing I wasn’t in a hurry to get to Chicago.
